Samsung last month announced the new Galaxy Book laptop line-up at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022. However, it’s for the first time that Samsung is entering the Indian laptop market by listing the Galaxy Book 2 series on its Indian website, confirming the launch. The different variants, accompanied by the specs, are put on display on the Indian website.
Meanwhile, Amazon on its e-commerce site has also announced to have the Galaxy Book 2 and Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 available for purchase soon.
Coming to the features and specs, super AMOLED panels are standard on the Galaxy Book 2 Pro and Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, as are Intel’s 12th Gen CPUs and Windows 11. They are available in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch sizes. The Galaxy Book 2 Pro has a standard form factor, whilst the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 features a 360-degree hinge for a 2-in-1 design.
The latest laptops from Samsung include enhanced full-HD cameras as compared to the 720p in the earlier models. Extra capabilities like auto framing, backdrop blur, and crisper microphones for better video chats and meetings are included too. Backlit keyboards, big trackpads with Windows Precision drivers, Thunderbolt 4 connectors, Wi-Fi 6E, a fingerprint sensor, and a port for a micro SD card are all included among the features.
The S Pen is built inside the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, which can also be used to take notes, draw, and do a number of other things. Both laptops are powered by Intel Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs. They also have RAM options of 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB, as well as storage sizes of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
