Apple revealed the date set for its upcoming all-virtual event as March 8th, as invites were sent out to the media. The company hasn’t disclosed much about the event, except “Peek Performance” as the tagline and 10 AM PT (Pacific Time) as the time set for the event.
As there isn’t much known about the event yet, Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg reporter, who is the dependable source and tracker for the rumours related to Apple, speculated that announcements of a new low-cost iPhone SE could be made. He expects the new device comes with 5G, a swifter A15 CPU chip, and improved cameras, having the same design as the current iPhone SE.
Gurman also hints that Apple might introduce the newest iPad Air model, which is rumoured to incorporate a faster CPU and may also come with 5G cellular-enabled variants. The iOS 15.4 update that was previously revealed in beta mode could also be rolled out widely with a new Universal Control Feature, allowing users to use a single keyboard and a mouse across multiple iPads and Macs.
The invitation message reads, “Please join us for a special Apple Event broadcasting from Apple Park. Watch it online at apple.com.”
